      Pros

      A wonderful place to develop intellectually; good opportunities for exploring interdisciplinary thinking. My salary increased 30% over the two years that I worked here.

      Cons

      No research library and limited archives. Materials requests had to be conducted entirely through GIL or ILL which created a lot of challenges for keeping up to date on new trends in the field and conducting research. A very limited research budget ($300).

      Good work-life balance and great benefits. Access to some of the top minds in the world and the classes that they teach.

      Cons

      Not much diversity the higher you move up the executive ladder. Administration not fully appreciative of staff. Salaries not market rate.

      Great experience in Georgia Tech

      Pros

      GaTech is a good research university to work. They have very good facilities and dedicated staff work for it. Recommended for those who try to find a postdoc or Ph.D. candidate position.

      Cons

      It is located in downtown Atlanta, so driving is very time consuming. Parking is also costly. So suggest to use alternative way to get to school. There is Marta train and techtroley. I combine these two to come to work. It is a bit time consuming, but that is reality. Anyway, Atlanta is a big city and cannot expect like a small town/city.
