Pros

Good interaction between students themselves and betweem them and supervising faculty members. The dedication of the people whether students or faculty is appreciable.

Cons

Sometimes high dedication leads to stress over students. I feel that students can be much more efficient with a bit less stress.

Pros

management is understanding to personal issues flexible work hours very knowledgeable co-workers sense of pride widely recognized university diverse faculty/staff/students open to telecommuting

Cons

underpaid - Due to the state budget reductions, there have been no raises between 2008-2011 (and 2012 doesn't look good) have to change departments to get promoted have to pay to park on campus very limited training budget some management is "old school" as far as "if you are working from home, you aren't working"
