Pros
GT is a great research institute with plenty of professional and scientific resources for graduate students. If you want a school whose degree looks good on paper, and you don't want to focus on anything but your academics, go for GT.
Cons
GT does not listen to its grad students at all. Rather, all concerns are declared to be "the fault of the Board of Regents". It doesn't matter if you are talking to your adviser, department chair, college dean, or school president, they all blame the BoR for everything from low compensation to poor COVID response to terrible diversity statistics. If you're looking for a school that will "do the right thing", GT isn't it.
