Great compensation package

Pros

The company offers a great compensation package, in addition to monthly & quarterly incentives. The company provides educational training for new employees to assist with obtaining their producer licenses. Friendly and caring environment, I've never worked for a company with such a positive atmosphere.

Cons

I've been with the company for 5 years and never seen a turnover rate compared to this year. Due to the frequently vacant positions, we are now taking higher calls for service, sales, claims & payments. The work overload is exhausting and sometimes frustrating. The company has upgraded our computer systems, however the new system seems to crash at least 4 times a month (multiple times a day).

Cronyism and Fraternization run the show here.

Pros

A few good people here. Company has a new CEO now.

Cons

Managers practice cronyism and fraternization. Benefits are mediocre. I now work for a smaller company in the same town (Fremont) with better pay and benefits. Much of the office furniture and computer equipment is old. I worked with two laptops one for development (which was purchased rebuilt and didn't work properly) and my work computer (over 6 years old, dented and would not close completely). If you are in good with a manager you'll do well with training and advancement. If not, good luck. If you're harassed by another employee or manager (bullying, hostile work environment) there is very little confidentiality and little to no support from HR.
