Going down hill quickly

Pros

Pay is okay. Don't lay off employees. Benefits are okay. Free fruit in summer and bottled water year round. Don't have to work very hard but when you do it's terribly hot, nasty, and miserable.

Cons

Bonus was good at one time, don't have a bonus anymore. New owners are so hung up on safety reminds me of liberals it has gone overboard. Lots of morale issues 18 + year employees leaving. Building falling apart

Good pay - no life outside work

Business Outlook

Pros

Good Pay and good benefits. Most employees will make a good living and be able to support their family in a manner they will enjoy. There are opportunities for advancement in most cases, especially if you have a college education. Safety is a core value of the company, but safety programs are paperwork based not action based.

Cons

The company is based in Brazil and they believe they have the right way to do everything - they want the rest of the world to do things the Brazilian way. They try to say they are family orientated but the work / life balance will convince you otherwise. There is a lot of micromanaging and a constant turnover of employees because of it. Safety should actually be the number one value, but in reality production rules over everything, even good sense.
