Pros
If you get some great tasks to do, its true fun and great experience - lots of insightful events. They do hire former interns regularly! Beware it's only partly a thinktank - more producing op-eds than reports; and the emphasis is on connecting to/across the atlantinc high-level stakeholders through (closed) events.
Cons
The whole experience depends highly on your supervisor - if you don't get cool tasks, it's literally sitting around wasting your time. Thus I was perfectly fine with just pursuing it part-time, no one ever complained.
