Pros

If you're interested in renewables, National Grid is one of ~5 companies in the business inside the Twin Cities. It gives you access to add to your resume and is generally accepting to those who have no experience.

Cons

National Grid is a ~tier 3 developer with the attitude of a tier 1 developer. Unfortunately, this created a number of bad investments and other unwise decision-making at the management-level. Way too many directors, not enough associates and analyst.

Pros

-Company as a great origination story (f/k/a Geronimo Energy found by a MN farmer) that serves as solid foundation for reputation in the industry -As of 2022, a medium-sized company (~200 employees); Relatively easy to connect w the correct contact and get stuff done

Cons

-Paranoid, frantic executive culture that trickles down
