Pros

- A fast-moving and team-oriented environment. Everyone is collaborative and helps each other work through problems. - A wide variety of work and projects to be a part of. You're not repeating the same work over and over again, but instead encounter new and exciting projects to work through. - Great office culture and an extremely friendly work environment.

Cons

GetInsured has experienced rapid growth recently, so there are some operational kinks to work out. However, the management team is constantly striving to be better for their employees and customers.

Great place to work that's only getting bigger and better...quickly

Pros

The work is challenging and you may be asked to wear different hats, but you'll learn a lot, and there are a lot of brilliant people here, so you'll be networking with great folks. Your hunger and thirst will be taken care of, as lunch is catered twice a week and the kitchen is stocked with drinks, snacks and a coffee machine. You'll be working with all of the tools and assets that you need to succeed, and if they're not available, it's not hard to ask to get them.

Cons

Like most other tech companies in the Bay Area, things move extremely quickly and you may get inundated with work, however, everyone here is realistic and understanding, so long as you set expectations and are accountable.

A Quickly Growing Startup

Pros

The people. GetInsured employs a smart and talented group of people that is growing fast. The UI team has a great dynamic—a lot of collaboration, learning from and helping one another. Growth. The company is growing very fast. There is opportunity to change, learn and grow with it. With growth comes a move to a bigger building (soon!) and amenities like a workout room, cafe and table tennis. Community. The community is tight-knit and incorporates fun events like lunches, food trucks and socials.

Cons

Long hours. This is typical of a startup. Parking. We have literally outgrown our existing space. This issue should be resolved after the move—the new building looks like it has plenty of parking.
