A really nice place to work
Pros
Overall, I'm really proud to work at Getinge. I work on a good product that makes a measurable difference in peoples' quality of life, surrounded by interesting and engaged colleagues, with a great work/life balance. Compensation for my position is average, but that's fine - I'm not underpaid and I'd rather work somewhere I love than get paid more to be with unpleasant coworkers. There's a big emphasis on sustainability, which aligns with my personal values.
Cons
It's not the most diverse company in the world, and could do with more DEI initiatives. The board is very male and very Swedish. While my part of the organization is doing quite well, some other parts of the organization seem like they've had some challenges lately. Communication between different parts of my organization have room for improvement.
