Pros

A lot of challenge offered by the company to succeed. Getty does a good job of following their core leadership principals and can be seen how groups will interact when it's time to solve a problem. Very focused at delivering high quality products.

Cons

A bit tough to grow within the company.

Pros

Pay is fair and you can go home at 5. It's rare to get an email after 6, and most of the lower ranks are pleasant to work with and trade ideas frequently

Cons

If you're not part of the club that was founded 15 years ago you're never moving up. Poor PMs have kept their jobs pulling rank and misleading management, people that were laid-off were randomly un-laid-off when they called the right manager, and principal engineers are a technology retirement community slamming out their last 10 years.

Pros

Good work-life balance, almost never got emails after 5 or on weekends

Cons

Messy, issues are the same every single year and don't get resolved. Lack of data.
