Sweat shop. No work life balance and lacks moral.

Pros

Flex time, ability to work from home, good health benefits.

Cons

You do not get rewarded for your efforts and rarely get a thank you. You work a lot. Managers have very poor judgement on the people they hire. They are more concerned finding bodies to fill jobs then finding the right person to do the job.

Pros

They foster a good work/life balance... at least in software, I can't speak to other teams. The average software engineer skill level seems better than average for the industry. They pay 1500 USD for education per year. They have free drinks/bread.

Cons

They've started outsourcing software to South America. The software team hierarchy is too flat. The rank and file developers don't seem to have much say in the organization. The general IT people (those who are closer to hardware) seem to not be very skilled.
