Pros

you learn a lot, but all on your own. nice people in the team. i mean, team members. very less politics. sometimes, but only sometimes. your opinions are valued. leave encashment and bonus benefits are really nice.

Cons

everything you need, you have to ask. mgmt has no pro-active stand towards growth of individuals. you are never trained on anything. but output is expected from day 1 subsidiary never realises, you may also have a family. users are pretty confused, never have experienced carved-on-stone requirements. users are never happy, never appreciate the hard work. non-technical and not supportive HODs. they will always divert the discussions. no conclusions ever. pathetic HRs. never reply. rather paid for doing an absolute nothing. no scope for soft skill development. no team building activities. even when mgmt tries, show-off is the motive. mgmt says, you are senior enough. really !! they never mean it.

Pros

Very little in the way of pro's, there are some kindhearted individuals who are trodden on

Cons

Senior leadership have no direction and are making terrible decisions for the company and the staff Backstabbing environment No training of products and services Staff not only undervalued but told they are unable to do the job they have been doing for many years, and doing well Headcount has been slashed, as the business has been in free fall to the competition Terrible micro management, unable to enable and support staff to deliver outcomes Some staff are toxic to others and incapable of holding a conversation with a customer
