Pros

The coworkers are very friendly. It's not a cut-throat environment when it comes to the peers you work with.

Cons

*Lack of Structure. The CEO is a joke. He is very condescending and is a narcissist who thinks his way is the only way and will not listen to any ideas or suggestions to improve workflow. *Company is cheap. They expect you to perform 100% with subpar tools and they will NEVER, I REPEAT, NEVER acknowledge any fault of their own. It's always YOUR fault no matter what. *Company is run by inexperienced managers who lack the skill on how to run a business effectively. *Compensation: Almost non-existant. They will ensure that set almost impossible quota so that you do not hit your goals, and hence get no commission. It's an ALL or NONE quota which means even if you fall short by 1 you will get ZERO COMMISSION! This company has had AMAZING Salespeople who have either quit or let go during the time I worked for them. About 30 employees in less than a year!!

Pros

i’ve met and worked with some of the most amazing people at this company on this sales team. i honestly don’t know how they found such gems of people and gathered them all in one place.

Cons

they treat remote workers as the ugly stepchildren of the company even though we came onto this company during the pandemic and now that local people have come back into the office they’ve brushed off the remote workers and are trying to push us out. they started a new thing called coffee chat where they just watch us all day because they don’t trust the remote workers even though we are more productive than in office workers. they sold the “coffee chat” to us as an optional meeting where we could hop in and out of throughout the day to socialize with each other but it’s absolutely mandatory and no one has addressed the fact that they straight up lied. we’re completely muted the entire day while the President just watches us. (remote workers have less distractions, it’s just statistics and it’s in the reporting that comes out every morning) they have an archaic business model, other companies laugh at their insane daily call expectations-literally every time any of us has an interview with any other company and we tell them how many people we’re expected to call per day, they LAUGH-cold calling at that. i’ve watched so many people i admire and respect come and go at this company because they’re constantly put down everyday by the President and he doesn’t care. he pits people against each other on his own team for his own entertainment but it’s demoralizing and demeaning. there’s only one person in HR and it’s the founders son. if you don’t meet your goals (that are based off of metrics that you have no control over, so good luck meeting your goals and making commission) you’ll get called out and ridiculed in front of the entire Sales team by the President while he laughs. i helped this company get voted best place to work and now i see that it was because they put up a facade to get us in the door and now we’re all on our way out. whether that’s if we get a better opportunity or if they fire us. at this point, none of us care anymore. i put in so much of my time and energy into this company. i had one bad month out of the two years i was there and they let me go because i had serious personal issues going on, but of course HR doesn’t care and he won’t ask because they’re trying to get remote workers to quit and they think we don’t know. it’s called quiet firing, GigSmart. whoever reads this. if you’re looking for employment please look elsewhere or connect with a current SEASONED employee in Sales on linked in and ask their honest opinion.

Pros

- Smart and passionate team. - An inclusive culture where your team is always willing to jump in and help. - Strong management that wants to see everyone individually succeed and gives the tools to do so. - Feedback driven team which leads to frequent improvements to processes and features. - Competitive pay. - Primarily promotes internally and leads team down a path toward professional growth. Overall I love working for this company and am excited to be part of building a growing platform. Every day I am reminded of how great everyone at this company is and I am positively challenged in my daily work.

Cons

- High expectations, which is a good thing, but can sometimes feel overwhelming. - Would love to see the benefits offerings improve, such as more time off and more affordable healthcare options. - This company has a strong start-up grind culture. I personally enjoy this and most others do too, but we tend to lose people who are more interested in a traditional 9-5.
