Pros

Life changing job. So many kind and talented people that work here. The sales team is still earning the trust of the engineering side of things but I think we're doing a great job. It's pretty easy selling a product that pretty much sells itself

Cons

The only con and non-5 start review is work/life balance. I want it to be clear that this is in no way against the company but my personality. There is so much to do and get done that I tend to lose site of the work/life balance. Everyone encourages people to take time off and it's kind of a ghost town around 5 in the office which is not the norm for me.

Pros

I am so happy to be a part of the GitHub team. The interview process was thorough and I met quite a few of my team and my key clients in the process. I appreciated the genuine transparency and connections that I made with everyone through the process. We are building a solid product, recruiting top notch talent, and taking the time to do things right.

Cons

Rapid growth mode - which is a pro as well.

Pros

I had spoken to 10 Hubbers by the time I was done interviewing. Everyone was so passionate and enthusiastic. I left my final interview day completely on cloud 9 because I knew how much a career opportunity here would change my life...and two years later it's absolutely exceeded expectations. Even on my most stressful days - I never "hate my job"...it's been incredibly rewarding in every way.

Cons

To be honest, the only cons I can think of are a couple individuals who were/are unpleasant to work with. Bad attitudes, sense of entitlement, poor communication...but I think that's inevitable and expected at every company, sadly. Gotta keep moving forward!
