Pros

Decent flexibility for PTO, good benefit accounts, and not too difficult to do well

Cons

Benefits have been getting worse and worse every year Microsoft just tells us what to do and how much money we get for salary/bonuses and then they move goalposts to pay less. Constant layoffs with below industry standard payouts Poor top level decision making and an inability to stand by good products instead of chase a shiny new technology.

Pros

Great work life balance, top tier benefits, and coworkers were all excellent.

Cons

If you're not engaged in the AI space, it could be a draining environment as things shift quickly. As with any company, many pros and cons are team dependent.
