Pros

Being a remote undergraduate intern at Github was not as overwhelming as expected. The most overwhelming part is onboarding/first week because there's so much documentation to review. Although it depends on your manager, they seem to "baby" you.

Cons

Intern benefits aren't fully conveyed. Though they exist most interns didn't know about them and learned from each other instead of their managers.
