Pros

The people. A wonderful and diverse group of people who genuinely seem to care for each other. We are encouraged to take smart risks and learn from them.

Cons

As a subsidiary of a larger company, there are some things we have no control over. This can be frustrating, but it's the flip side of having massive resources backing us up.

Pros

Team was the main pro, everyone including my direct manager was amazing

Cons

Irish employees transitioned from GitHub employees to MSFT employees, and we lost a lot of the fun, and no one knew "who owned us" depending on the situation.
