Pros

Great place to work all in all just over worked and under paid and could offer better benefits to employees and pay cashiers more than minimum wage

Cons

Too many problems with people calling out resulting in myself working too many hours which caused me to be burned out and stressed out beyond belief was like working two full time jobs

Favoritism and Uneven Workloads

Pros

-I liked my co-workers, so there was little conflict during actual work. Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to casually. (Not professionally.) -The prices were a little high, but it's because of the high quality of all of the food (besides the frozen pizza crusts and cookies). -They will try their best to work around your school schedule.

Cons

-Manager is extremely entitled and refuses to listen to people who are not "favorites" of hers/who will not threaten her position of power. -Raises are never more than $0.20 (unless you're a favorite), even if you've been told you're doing extremely well, and they happen MAYBE once a year, if you bring it up until she finally gets around to it. -The workers who are working hardest are expected to do more and more, while the workers who have always done the minimum, or who don't actively try to improve, are not even expected to help with the weekly cleaning list. -Expect to be called every time someone calls out sick if you've ever said yes for covering a shift, because the manager never covers shifts, even if she tells you she "will come in if you need ANYTHING, just call me!" -Any work you pick up because no one else is doing it is immediately ALWAYS your responsibility, and you WILL get in trouble for not doing it, even though it wasn't being done at all before you started it. -And last, but certainly not least, expect to work 39.5 hours almost every single week, as long as the "total hours given" are less than last week. You will never get 40 hours, you will get into trouble - because perish the thought that you might make some extra money for working hard for the company. -Someone from "higher up" will come in about once a month. She/he will be very nice, but then tell your manager nothing but things that are wrong and how furious they are about it. Which, of course, means the rest of the employees get to get lectured and everyone is in trouble. Makes for very awkward meetings.

Pros

This is the best company for which I've ever worked. Family owned and it shows. Executives care about everyone in the company. Pleasant working environment. Everyone works HARD, but they do it with smiles on their faces.

Cons

I can't think of any.
