Pros

More opportunities for locals with no experience and no degree to work toward both. Entire site has much better commitment to listening to employees and improve day to day working environment.

Cons

Still some of the same problems when dealing with difficult management. There is a culture of using the phrase 'accountability' to mean 'blame' and a tendency to use shame as a teaching tool. Training is still an issue and is almost entirely self driven. If you want to learn a skill or gain more proficiency with a tool set, you have to find the person who seems to know what they're doing and apprentice yourself. There is very limited organized training and even less help from superiors. If you want to move ahead you have to chart your own path.

Pros

Good place to learn, lots of opportunity to learn

Cons

Too dynamic change in the management and thus changes in company direction too frequent. This wasted a lot of time and effort and employees are then losing confident to the company
