Pros

- Good way to get your foot in the door inside the industry in a growing company. - Potentail to move up and lateraly in positions. - Decent benefits, this will be up for you to compare with other companies. - Thomas Caulfied as the CEO has done a great job when looking at how well the company is doing in the market since he has taken over leadership. - Night shift differential 12.5%, this can be worth it if you like working nights. Although as a night shift worker I would heavily recommend trying to get a day time shift. (See Cons below). - Interesting people to work with with. Some have made me want to better myself and really look at the direction I want to grow.

Cons

- Depends on the department but the culture can be a bit negative. This could be due to excessive short staffing during this time (2021). Generally there is a fair amount of turnover from my experience since starting at the tail end of 2019. - Starting pay is not competitive for the industry. Higher ups have specifically stated they are not trying to be competitive with pay, so be forwarned. - Low pay raises, compaired to my previous empoyement. This could be because they are planning to go IPO and want to show profit margins to potental investores. However from what I hear this has been the staple for years. This year (2021) many were expecting a larger raise increase than what was given due to how well the company did during COVID. - Working night shift will not offer the same opportunities as a day time shift if you're looking for upward mobility. During days you will have more access to work directly with engineers on projects to help advance your career. This allows you to be seen/network with the higher ups in your department leading to possible advancement. - This may depend on department and shift but training can be lackluster. There is a system for training setup but from my experience it is not followed. Many things I've just gone ahead and learned my self which is alright and I'm capable of doing but it is not ideal. Again this could just be my individual experience.

Cons

IBM Microelectronics based Senior Leadership team who have rigid ideas and not willing to change based on new trends, non-competitive salary, not much career growth path due to so many 20+ years experience guys who will retire in 10 years but keeping up positions and not letting new blood to grow their careers.
