Great company to get your foot in the door to the industry, and to see you take most of the jobs you’ve had for granted.
Pros
Not the worst pay, we work less than half the year on shift work so that’s good. But that’s a lot of places.
Cons
Where to begin... Management. They don’t care about technicians. My MSM’s superior has no idea who else works under her. And it’s that way all the way to the top. Recently they hired a new msm for us and he’s more of a middle man. He doesn’t know how to manage people and relies solely on being his boss’ puppet. Bonuses are quarterly now, but they are minimal. Want a raise? Absolutely not! Your raise is based on a person 4 ranks above you that doesn’t know who you are or what you do, and most certainly doesn’t care. They’ll spread the budget evenly, even amongst the employees that are brought in at much higher pay levels and are being trained by junior people due to their lack of knowledge on anything. Interview was basically a conversation and not an interview. Micromanagement at its finest, with no willingness to change or listen to the people who are making the company the money.
