Pros

Excellent benefits, location, employees and cafeteria (albeit rather expensive). Onsite training is provided along with other necessary skills required.

Cons

Due to the company doing poorly, there were layoffs resulting in those remaining having to accept additional responsibilities. Way too many meeting everyday resulting in loss of productivity.

Pros

Techs, shift engineers, and manufacturing engineers work block shifts with 3 days on 4 off and then 4 on 3 off which provides a lot of free time to do things outside of work. The company loves to promote from within even if you have less experience than those outside of the company so that you can grow quick as an individual (especially new college graduates). Good benefits and great people everywhere. Diverse culture. Company has been doing very well with regards to getting customers, recognition, and product yield.

Cons

Company is manufacturing driven which causes tension between engineering and operations because many working for engineering are not used to the style/demand but has gotten significantly better over the years since the company started. Process engineers, layer owners, and equipment owners often put in a lot of extra time to resolve issues around the clock to provide runpath to areas of low capacity. Company is running lean with regards to employees, so many are burdened with as much work as they can handle if not more (but management also understands if not everything can be met due to manpower). Ratings and promotions conform to a bell curve instead of strictly by performance which prevents deserving people from getting better ratings or their promotions sooner.
