Job security is somewhat there, tend to keep you and gives you chance even if you underperform Can have work life balance if everything is smooth.

Cons

few may need to work harder to cover for the underperforming members to step up. Limited growth path Heavily impacted by semicon cycle.

great place to work for only if you follow a mature leader, easy to fit into the culture (a lot of Malaysian Chinese)

Cons

salary in Singapore is really not on the same page as in the US, and not up to the market.
