Pros

People here like people to be gentle, laidback, do not rock the boat. Gentle is paramount. Note - not apple polishing. Good for stress-free work.

Cons

If you are of the above, even if you lack the competence for the job, you will be promoted. Also if you are chinese, you are faster to promote. A three year from fresh graduate has just been promoted to senior.
