Pros

Lots of room for career growth. Highly qualified engineering workforce creates a good environment for learning and innovation. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Poor US location. Weather is too cold and very high taxes. Unsustainable workload and poor work/ life balance. Losing good people due to burnout.

Pros

get to see how different cultures works in the company get to know how much of your family love you by still having them around when stress is wearing you out

Cons

all things done are just like Brownian motion. work hard and destroy your family life and still get bad feedback from the management team in the meetings by calling you being sitting around and being lazy. feedback from management was always in negative. no positive feedback and hardly instructive/constructive. endless political games without looking into issues seriously ( some people giving half hour speech in the meeting juts for self covering) all things are told to be with top priority (does not that mean no priority?) meetings eat up more than half of your day and you are still expected to work long hours to get all the action items fulfilled after all these meetings ( and as said, it is not appreciated)

Pros

If any, I would say the health benefits

Cons

Low pay Expect too much Night shift workers get no premium when taking vacation day Every holiday is paid in 8 hour blocks, even though we work 12 hours Vacation time is in 8 hour blocks, 1 day worked=8hours for vacation accrual, we work 12 hour nights If holiday falls on day off, you get 8 hours pay, we work 12 Conclusion-if in production, never ever work the night shift because it will be 2-4 thousand dollars less a year than your day shift counterparts Shift premium for 12 hour nights is far far from industry standards, although the night shift does 60% or more of the work No raises or bonuses, even though you will be told that you will get them
