      Pros

      The company is fairly young and there is plenty of opportunities to help it become a little bit of you. There is also a lot of opportunities for promotions.

      Cons

      The company is way to process oriented. There are procedures for everything and all errors are followed by new procedures to try to avoid the errors. Because of all of this people are afraid to make changes by risk of failing and having to present the reasons of the error to no end.

      Benefits, but that will not last much longer

      Cons

      Constantly finding ways to nickle and dime money from already underpaid hourly employees. Engineers are mostly useless new college grads that have no work experience. Management is atrocious. HR even worse.

      Pros

      Entrepreneurial spirit. Good investor funding. Good talent from varied backgrounds including competitors. Spirit to succeed. New CEO is bringing strong operational focus. This is one of the few opportunities in semiconductor manufacturing with the potential to change the landscape of the industry as a new player.

      Cons

      Still building key business processes and capabilities necessary to become world-class. Shallow depth of leadership plus some missing key leadership positions such as COO have resulted in a strain on the existing leadership team. The company never successfully completed an integration of the company's original manufacturing roots to create a unified GLOBALFOUNDRIES culture. Many employees remain dissatisfied until this unified talent-enabling culture is fully established.
