not demanding or challenging; the bar is low so it's easy to exceed expectations; get done at 5pm every day; the firm has good resources to learn and prepare yourself for exit opportunities

Cons

very weak corporate culture (bean counters that view people as expense line items); ineffective and difficult-to-work-with management; compensation structure that doesn't reward strong performance (same bonus every year); no career progression; terrible benefits; this is more like a garden variety corporate gig than an asset management role; after the initial ramp-up, the job gets very boring and everyone is looking to either coast and pursue outside business opportunities or play office politics games to move around in the organization

Weekends and many Holidays off.

Cons

Very poor management from the very top down. They audit your calls until they find ways to lower your pay. Very ridgid time management and they dont treat you like an adult and w/respect.
