Pros

Work from home position, extensive one on one training.

Cons

Predatory, form the beginning was told that I would work for a few hours every day in the afternoon. They told me in the interview that after training this was a part time position with flexibility. After training I was expected to be online working from 8am - 12pm take a lunch and then be on from 2pm - 8 or 9pm including weekends most weeks. The new agents were given the worst leads and expected to call leads 3-5 times a day to fill a schedule. I can understand that these may be requirements of the position but they should be up front about these things instead of lying to prospective employees and expecting them to just comply with these rules once it is there only stream of income because they are stuck.

Pros

Remote work, great team, management is motivational, can be lucrative if the business you write doesn't fall off (people keep paying their monthly premiums)

Cons

No time for a life: 10 hour work days 6 (7 days encouraged) days per week. You'll face lots of rejection which is tough because you only get paid for selling insurance, but we tell people we are providing a free service such as giving out Will Kits in order to generate more leads. If clients miss their payments and you don't find a way to get them to pay, your check gets garnished each week in order to pay back the advance received for their business. This means you have to make enough sales in order to compensate for the bad business so a $700 sale can sometimes only payout $250 due to chargebacks.
