Pros
We have people who are amazingly kind, and brilliant and this makes coming to work on a game changing product that has its challenges so much easier. The executive team is incredibly transparent so we get an insight into their vision of the future. Deliberate work is put into building and maintaining our culture which is best I have ever experienced. Lunch is provided and we eat together. Our team is really diverse and it shows in how we operate.
Cons
This is a startup so concomitant kinks are present. Sometimes we have to travel and work long hours. It is not unlikely that we figure out things on the fly which can lead to uncertainty. Some of us have to wait for long periods on someone's approval in order to move on with our work. Finally, communication across teams can be hard which leads to misunderstandings and inefficiencies.
