33% positive business outlook
Pros
Able to experience nice cars, fun environment, CEO knows all employees by name, good stepping stone career wise if you work in hospitality.
Cons
Commission is split with the entire team rather than individually. Meaning if you are pulling more weight, working more hours, renting out more cars, selling more insurance, and pushing to earn more business, you are compensated the same as someone doing the bare minimum. And in my case, I actually made less than my coworkers hourly yet we were hired at the same time.
Pros
The CEO is a fantastic human and really cares about his employees. The corporate training was fun and incredibly helpful! I never feel micromanaged, which gives me full autonomy. It is a pretty low stress job.
Cons
Very little pay during the shoulder season, which is a huge chunk of the year...around 3.5-4 months. Takes a long time to get promoted and advance, especially after a proven track record of productivity. Very extreme and unrealistic goals that are set, even when adjusting them halfway through the month.
Pros
Benefits is good and meeting new people on a daily basis when doing meet and greets is astonishing. CEO is a subtle and professional business men.
Cons
Poor management, understaff, and pay is not good enough for the amount of work applied. No career growth and takes time for management to recognize your hard work and dedication.
Pros
* Great career growth opportunities * Really good bonus + commission compensation * Travel opportunities * CEO listens to ideas and provides recognition * Family/fun culture * Innovative niche market dominance
Cons
* Can be high pressure, high volume at times as we handle a unique clientele base that involved the most wealthy /successful customers that demand 5 star service at all times.
Pros
Go Rentals continues to reinvent itself and stay relevant to guest and employee needs. We have grown exponentially and managed to keep the same small town feeling within. Other companies in the industry can’t compare to the culture created at Go Rentals. Lead by an amazing CEO who genuinely cares about his people and his brand, it’s refreshing to be a part of this special organization.
Cons
Constant changes in market factors out of the company’s control can be challenging, but we continue to navigate successfully as a team which is rewarding. Occasionally employees can lose track that Go Rentals is a business because of the employee-centric culture. Every career has its challenges, but overcoming those challenges successfully is what separate the greats from the average. Go Rentals wasn’t built on average it was built on greatness, and provides the opportunity for employees to show their potential through earning it.
Pros
*Perfect position for people looking to be hands on with customers and enjoy getting out from behind the desk. If you have a natural entrepreneur spirit, each location can feel like your own business. I have had the pleasure to open 4 locations across the country and I started out as a Carcierge. People are often promoted from within and it is an incredibly inclusive culture. Management has hand picked every location across the country before opening and truly cares about your teams success. *Learning aviation and developing relationships with pilots and owners. *This is not a 9-5 position and every day is different. *5 Star Service Culture *CEO, VP & HR work extremely hard and are very approachable
Cons
Like any business owner you are constantly working to make sure you are successful. As such, this position can be demanding as managers field calls and emails consistently since we cater to Private Aviation and there is a high volume of requests. As the first point of contact for the FBO & high profile clients, you must always be "on".
Pros
The CEO is very involved in the company and really creates a drive in the employees to work hard and deliver high levels of service. Good pay in successful locations. Fun job and cool atmosphere depending on which location you work at.
Cons
Low pay in slow locations. Very high goals that can be completely out of reach. Some of the highest paid managers managing locations have no idea what they are doing and continue to stay in those positions when they shouldn't.
Pros
Family owned and family run company. Have you ever worked at a company that treats you truly like a family and most if not all previous employees still in close contacts with top executives and especially the CEO! Go rental is that. I have been with this company for over 22 years and Love what I do. Go Rentals provides an opportunity for current employees to move to new cities and states and help with the opening of new locations year round. We are expanding more than ever and there are amazing opportunities with this company. CEO and top executives are a phone call away for any suggestions, concerns, questions and they truly take mentorship to a new level. Not sure if there is any other company out there even in different industries who have such setup.
Cons
I am thinking really hard but probably giving a second and a third chance to old employees will not be my choice!
