Nothing is up to date. Everything is old. I’m talking literal corporate headquarters here. 20 year old computers worth $150 if that (10 generations behind current tech) way older buildings that look extremely deteriorated almost condemned. A building the same age next door was condemned, old vehicles and equipment etc. One of the cheapest places I’ve ever known with making the work environment nice clean and welcoming to come to. the facilities are atrosious and have cancer causing asbestos everywhere. They don’t even have a janitor and there’s literal years of nastiness built up. People have had to beg the company to get things they need and make the job efficient. “It’s the GoJet way” I hear A LOT. A sentiment shared by most employees, meaning we shouldn’t expect good things or new/improved things, and we should expect a bad environment. Employees literally laugh if it’s suggested something should be improved or changed. That reveals the company culture has groomed its workforce to think like that by its mentality and treatment. The person that “trained” was already hired by another place when I got there then quit. Many people there have only been there a few months. The turnover tells you what this place is like. They held a grand opening for a new project recently. The first time I saw anyone from corporate in the building, even they don’t want to come over from their offices nearby. Shows you how much they care. During this event they only rented a few chairs for themselves while the entire maintenance staff had to stand like how can you live with yourselves?
