Pros

Tips are nice and the job is not to hard to do once you get used to it. Throwing the food off the plate, keeping are clean, silverware must be refilled, drink orders, its manageable once you have a routine.

Cons

Tips can vary and sometimes you'll make so much less than other days. Great for part time and side jobs, a bit wary for full time job.

Pros

The dish room is pilled up at midnight. The best thing that happens next is in a corporate store. The hot water and air conditioner will turn off to save money. That helps your bonus. No one from the corporate office has ever threatened me when I left a whole shelf stacked with dirty pans: You cannot cut the grease in cold water. Corporate offers health insurance: my out of pocket was only $5000. This really is a business that you can grow your income. Corporate will help your bonus by staffing you so bear that management will fill in team member positions if anyone calls in, You get a 401k match that you need to be vested in to collect. I got a thousand dollar raise every year. One year, I got a 5,000 raise. Since I had common sense, I got to be the CSQ champion in my district. 5 day work week

Cons

Corporate will tell you that there is no limit to your bonus. That is true. You can build the business and greatly increase your income. I did. I built my bonus from a few hundred dollars to under two thousand a month. At that time, it was the most that I had ever made in my life. Oh, I guess you want to know the Cons! You get a two week notice that the store is being sold. Your insurance and 401k goes by by. Management that are not yet vested will loose their 401k match. The franchisees did not offer health insurance but they did pay good and did not expect me to work team member positions. This should have been in the Pros: I liked the franchisees.
