Can confirm - is pretty ideal
Pros
Free food, talented coworkers, amenities, subsidized classes, work-life balance, impactful projects with media attention, best benefits, gyms, on-site doctors, annual raise and bonus, culture of open communication, mobility between cities globally, ability to present your work publicly, resources to do great work, ... even great weather. The only reasons I could see a designer being dissatisfied working at Google are if they had bad chemistry with a manager/coworker or if they had never worked somewhere else and didn't know what a normal job was like.
Cons
Culture incentivizes big launches followed by a disinterest in supporting projects, leading to mostly finished features not being polished or things being cancelled entirely in favor of the next big launch. Leadership has a history of internal dishonesty, frequently saying things they think employees want to hear instead of the truth. The VP of hardware design promotes opinions of anti-intellectual pseudoscience.
