      Comfortable, good place to coast and waste your life.

      Cons

      Career suicide, no meaningful work. Google is the new Microsoft/government job, bureaucracy to the very core. Your product/project will likely be cancelled, and it won't be a drop in the ocean. 95% of the staff is just reducing probable risk or cost or compliance work. Innovation is dead, and company is too marred by process to execute anything. Acquisition is Google's only remaining innovation strategy, which too takes 2-3 years. For those passionate about a tech career/impact I strongly recommend finding a real job instead (startup).
