      Pros

      you can move in dog years at google. it's a great opportunity career wise, and also has alot of challenge to it. if you're okay with a rapidly moving bar of expectations for achievement, then google would likely be your place. stay organized, ask questions, and don't waste time.

      Cons

      it is a big org, and that has its political and speed challenges, but in all its a wonderful place to work.

      Lots of smart people; great benefits; engineering dominated culture; as an engineer, you can literally do whatever you want, but you have to want something to begin with (see cons).

      Cons

      Company is too successful; people get complacent; increasingly engineers that need to be told what to do.
