Business Outlook
Pros
- Compensation is way above average - Compensation is stable (compared to local semi-conductor companies which a majority portion of comp. is on bonus and it largely depends on the company revenue and personal performance) - Perks are good compared to many of local companies - Good WLB for software engineers - Many resources
Cons
- I see people work for longer hours in hardware-related departments. They were surprised about it because they joined Google to have a better WLB and turned out not - Since it is a large company many people are doing things that the contributions are not fully realized.
