Pros

Every individual has a lot of autonomy, flexibility, and ownership in the teams / projects they're part of. Pay and benefits are still among the very best. World-class coworkers. Google is a for-profit company and far from perfect, and I don't know every detail about every aspect of the business. That being said, relative to any other company I've worked for or heard of, Google still has a solid moral compass when it comes to users / customers, and employees.

Cons

The company isn't the employment utopia it once was, but it's still the best place I've ever worked by a very wide margin. Google has matured into a massive corporation, with a lot of the frustrating bureaucracy that comes with that status. It's frustrating to hear leaders say things like "work more efficiently, increase velocity" while also saddling us with ever-increasing layers of budget and security driven red tape.

Pros

The company provides a collaborative work environment with supportive team members. There are opportunities to learn new skills, work on challenging projects, and gain valuable industry experience. Management encourages innovation and professional growth.

Cons

Project timelines can occasionally be challenging, requiring additional coordination across teams. Some processes could be streamlined to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time for project delivery.
