Pros
Some of the management cared about people Peers kept me going HR cared but was stretched thin and not even close to the market they worked in. Corporate/virtual roles seem fun Camera systems are good Good concept and intentions for customers Ok insurance package Pay is good ability to negotiate, but not worth the hours you put in Legacy people are great they show you it can be better
Cons
-“Unlimited PTO” but that gets used against you in performance reviews -No work life balance - Amazon leadership without the Amazon controls. -Everyone has an initiative. They create spreadsheets with an expectation that their initiative is the top priority in the business. They don’t communicate the initiatives to each other - No upward mobility conversations. Talks about development to appease the audience on calls. -Calls everyday, 7:30 pm calls get scheduled at 7 pm - Business is ran on spreadsheets - Not enough site level leadership leaving GM+ to figure out which sites needs the most help when they are all burning -Mismanagement of COVID leaves with the same lofty expectations - expected to delivery products in 30 mins but can not take care of employee/driver concerns. Multiple No responses to legitimate problems and questions (everyone is spread thin) - spend too much money on stuff not needed. - warehouses are old and breaking down, some with pests - No accountability to management or corporate myself included. All accountability falls on hourly associates - Trying to be amazon nothing close to it. Not the same model, not the same tech. - Everything needs an action plan or a call, this takes so much time out of your day that you can’t actually fix problems and you’re stuck behind a computer - Don’t care about customer experience but preach it. - Recent reorg has a lot of people including myself stretched thin - CEOs are not focused on the core of the business, they are focused on the growth. The culture they created has evaporated while they looked away. - Pay issues are consistently happening, response time sucks when this happens and field ops gets the brunt of it even though we don’t control pay. - People burnt out, upset or crying behind closed doors. While Sr. Leadership smile on zoom calls ready to grill you
