      It was a fast hiring process.

      Cons

      I never received pay for my hours. A few days shy of month after separation, one of the recruiting staff told me I would be paid the next Friday and the direct deposit never appeared. Then they never answered my follow-up email requesting to be connected with someone in HR/payroll for additional assistance. GoPuff’s recruiting team also offered one pay rate then tried to change it after I had already signed the agreement and arrived for my first meeting on site.

      I love it here at Gopuff. I’ve been on the Talent Acquisition team for over a year. The people are very friendly; and most of all, when I have an issue someone is there to take care of it We use new technology that helps speed up the hiring process. They also will provide room for growth opportunities once you’ve proven yourself which is nice Also sweet employee discount

      Cons

      Overall, the pay isn’t awful, but it could be a little higher for the scope of work we do. But at least our bosses are very flexible with us as long as we’re able to produce results. As a startup, we have hiccups. We’re constantly rolling out ideas to help improve things but there’s sometimes when a process is too slowed down by red tape

      Work when you want and as long as you want Customers were generally nice Got to see different areas that you may have never been to before If it wasn't too busy, they'd let you stop for food or something. Coworkers and shift leads were chill

      Cons

      Independent contractor - you pay your taxes each year with no return I really think it's time they were to stop claiming their drivers as independent and start taxing their paychecks and allow them to keep tips as well. Wear and tear on vehicles - yes it was nice they started partnering up with businesses to help ease the financial burden but I think company cars would be much better. You also have a higher risk of getting into a car accident doing this job, I've lost 2 within my time working for goPuff which was a little over 2 years They wouldn't promote me despite me knowing how to do everything in the back and I was also one of the last original drivers that started with goPuff when they first opened the location I was working at. Instead, they brought in random people that didn't even know the job and never made deliveries.
