Pros
Good for weekends or beggining of the week since there's less workload ( especially in wknds when they call in loads of employees , it doesn't last long tho as they watch the analysis . Easy 12.33 hourly ( 1.33 holiday pay and some tax it would sit around 10.50 or so - Dija used to have similar salary if not mistaken , or Jiffy . Both fusioned into Gopuff resulting in a semi greedy company ) .
Be fast , but not so fast as there's no reward in it , only a useless thank you from the shift leader hehe . We are just a number for the company , be reasonable fast and accurate between the trips as the job survives on this. Gotta keep the customer base high enough .
Shift swapping happens pretty often than i thought between the riders which is great overall . Work & life balance good but i wouldn't recommend doing double shifts or relying on this job that much , 15-20 hours would suit each kind of personality .
Cons
Barely respecting your prefered schedules
some shifts are heavily understaffed meaning you'll do 2-3 orders at most hourly and if u take breaks on your way back shift leader notes you down resulting less hours given to you or something like this .
Zero hour contract
No opportunity to work at multiple warehouses ( your bound to 1 wh ( MFC - micro fulfillment center )
Carrer opportunity = 0
Nepotism is pretty high
Managers do lie and hide things yet they come to you in desperate times asking if u can cover shifts etc
