Pros

The only pro i found were the benefits, besides good luck.

Cons

Well where do i begin. After 7 months i couldn't take anymore crap...When your hired they fill your head with how much $$$$ your going to make when your on runs, but that only happens once and awhile. Overtime is a thing of the past unless your a best buddy with the supervisor crew that way you can work 6 day work week while the new guys are working 4 days and if you take home 600 a week take home your doing great. Thats right 600 buck to wake up at 1 or 2 am and work week ends for min 10 years..... Until GFS wakes up this will continue. They expect drivers to work there like slaves this will not change. Drivers are a dime a dozen and are treated with no respect. really sad cause the actual company has a solid ground.

Too many hours - fake "culture"

Pros

Discount on food, 401K, You save money since your working 50+ hours a week. You learn the deep dark secrets of food service like spoiled greens and who uses what sauces.

Cons

This was the single worst environment I ever worked in. They schedule you 50+ hours a week YEAR ROUND, It doesn't matter if its peak season or not. My GM would claim he never takes breaks but then go on smoke breaks off and on all day causing you to never know if a key was up front, resulting in poor customer service. Other key holders, stock leads or anyone who knew how to use a LDT scanning gun could make cycle counts for the closing manager (example counting 1000 unboxed metal pie tins) as a form of retaliation. No sales culture at all, your just a stock boy even at Asst. manager level.

Pros

Great Co-Workers, decent salary, benefits, tons of new opportunity with new stores.

Cons

50hr work weeks is not necessary for 90% of the year. Around Christmas and Grad Season sure. There is no reason to work us 50 hours a week, first chance most of us get we are going to leave for a normal full time job.
