      Pros

      Not much to say here that isnt offered else where... huge 10% off employee purchases, Medical for full timers. Some things you dont get elsewhere is; you get to work with bags of meat leaking blood and spoilded greens. Also Fun videos to train you.

      Cons

      Required District activites people really dont want to do, ask them to be honest and they may even tell you. Required out of store get togethers at Christmas time. Full Timers have to work a scheduled 50 hours a week. GM smoked out front of the store and in backroom door area, not fun for non smokers.

      Co-workers were Awesome Managers were cool and helpful most of the time

      Cons

      Too much focus on customer service. You are expected to approach every customer you see and answer the phone to deal with customers and you were not trained to handle phone calls! Poor training, watch vhs tapes and then thrown out there to start working pretty much no training at all! How can we expect to answer the phone to help customers with their special orders if we were never trained to do it??

      A great company to work for if you are looking to start a career out of high school

      401K, Profit sharing, bonus program, medical insurance for PT and FT

      Cons

      Company wants to start you at the bottom and work you through the position regardless of you degrees or work experience. It is hard to get full time. You have to learn the company on your own by researching the internet, Homeplate or ask a lot of questions.
