It was a stepping stone

Pros

It depends on the contract and the management. The contract I worked on was relatively large, and so the management was relatively relaxed. Other contracts may have been different, though.

Cons

No clear management or standards for many things. No SOPs. I did not feel particularly valued beyond my output. I had to commute a long distance almost every day.
