This organization has the potential to be great.

Pros

Employees are invested in the organization and work hard to see that the business survives and is successful. The organizational mission is excellent and most of the staff and leadership believe in it and therefore work hard to make sure it happen. This training organization is a great alternative to some other traditional training options.

Cons

Mistakes by past leadership are going to take a while to overcome. Staff is a little fatigued, but hopefully this will change with new leadership.

Great mission, but there are growing pains

Pros

The mission is first rate, training and educating federal workers and people around the country. Most of the staff are good people, cooperative, friendly, etc.

Cons

The extraction of any meaningful data is close to impossible, mostly because only one person controls the report process, which uses legacy systems that were never designed for sophisticated tracking. Some departments continue to defend their specific turf instead of working for the overall good.

Pros

The staff is very hard working and would like to see things succeed.

Cons

It was a wonderful training organization when it was controlled by the USDA. It has been losing a million dollars a month for over a year. The top leadership runs the board, and no one seems to care if a business plan exists to improve sales. This is the second college the CEO has allowed to go down the tubes. Don't be sucked in.
