There are many talented and hard working people who are wonderful to work with.

Cons

For the year 2022, after 20+ years of working for Graham Holdings, my salary increase was 2%. This at a time when inflation is 6%. Even the US government gave themselves a 2.7% raise.

This is a Fortune 500 that has feel of a family business. Manged by people with the highest integrity that follow the business model of Warren Buffet, a former board member and mentor to for two generations of CEOs. Smart people and an office with views that will knock your socks off.

Cons

As a holding company employee, you're a little disconnected from the actual businesses, their customers and communities. The mission is a little abstracted.
