The intern will follow a supervisor and pick up some random project. there is no curriculum for interns.

I worked in the TV division at KSAT in San Antonio. KSAT is a market leader and always drew in the best employees. I was impressed with their ability to attract talent across all the departments - sales, on air talent, engineers, producers. From a sales perspective, when you mentioned that you worked at KSAT, 95% would agree to meeting. The KSAT brand opened a lot of doors.

Cons

At the time they were still a legacy TV business, struggling to figure out how to stem losses from the TV side, while attempting to increase digital revenue.

This is a Fortune 500 that has feel of a family business. Manged by people with the highest integrity that follow the business model of Warren Buffet, a former board member and mentor to for two generations of CEOs. Smart people and an office with views that will knock your socks off.

Cons

As a holding company employee, you're a little disconnected from the actual businesses, their customers and communities. The mission is a little abstracted.
