Can be very physically demanding, but I never minded that much. I sweat every single day, and definitely am sore by the end of the week. Nothing is automated so you’re doing the picking, packing, consolidating, labeling, etc. It’s a big team effort, as most logistic operations are, but you can definitely feel how busy it can get at times when the work load is high. If you aren’t used to high paced environments that can simulate a long cardio workout, then you might have a rough time. Not a con for me, but...LOTS of walking, lifting of boxes up to 60 lbs, and pushing heavy carts. Making rate can be stressful if you are not consistent. Every floor or department has a different metric rate to try and hit, and some are definitely more easily achievable. If you are picking in the bin module, each floor has different assortments of items, and depending on what floor you’re assigned to, you may struggle to either get used to the products, or genuinely start feeling the harsh conditions as you move to higher floors. It’s a hot warehouse, no denying that. Winter it’s chilly, but with all the physical movement I never needed my sweater. We’re just about to hit summer and the upper two floors are a sauna. No ac installed as of May 2021, so hopefully soon. Seems like I wrote a lot about cons, but I just wanted to be detailed about my main gripes. TL;DR: It’s a physically tough job if you’re picking, hitting productivity rate expectations can be stressful, and challenging. Gets pretty hot.

Overall, it's a meat grinder. Metrics are all that matter. It's masked with "Team Member Engagement" but ultimately they don't prioritize the people. Leaders are chewed up and spit out regularly. Little room for advancement and promotions are not given based on experience and education. Performance is subjective and actual results are not recognized. If you are a leader, I would look elsewhere. In 3 years, I saw over 30 leaders fired or quit. Overall, an awful experience.
