Pros

Grainger was a great place to work years ago in the Jim Ryan and D. Kaiser days. PST (profit sharing) was amazing and tenure/experience was valued.

Cons

Many questionable benefit cuts and reorgs the past 5 years. Senior management seems to have no clue who the good managers and team members are.

Great retirement and health care, does a good job of training people in the field, and very nice office environment.

Cons

Slow to change, many people involved in decision making process. Company in the midst of major changes.
