Pay and Benefits trap you from wanting to leave the toxic, disorganized company. The company is slowly going downhill in multiple facilities might I add.
The company culture is so bad. I don’t know of one person who likes it there. Everyone I know is seeking employment elsewhere. Manufacturing and Quality management are a toxic joke. While at GRAM I never once heard my supervisor or manager tell me or my team anything positive. Every meeting is always about what you/ the team is doing wrong. QA gets blamed for manufacturings mistakes. I was told for 3 years that if I wanted to advice to a specialist 2 I would have to wait for an opening on 1st shift. So if 1st shift hours don’t work for you don’t ever plan on getting any “career” advancement.
You can’t safely report your boss or others to HR. Even if you do HR does not take it seriously. You will be the one to most likely get in trouble or your boss will retaliate against you. That’s why everyone reports anonymously so HR HAS to take it seriously and actually investigate/ interview people and people don’t have to fear retaliation.
Schedules are never consistent. You could be working for a month then suddenly no work for months and get sent to another building to help out.
They have been firing people like CRAZZYY!! If you have no personal life, love being talked down on, under appreciated, over worked, love to be on-call and not get paid for it, and don’t question management and there contradicting decisions to keep production running then this job is for you!
