Pros

there are good pay and benefits

Cons

If you are in urgent need of a job, this place can provide financial stability, but otherwise, I would recommend avoiding it. This job has had a significant impact on my mental health. Management seems more focused on maintaining appearances rather than genuinely supporting their employees. They have fostered a culture of fear, and their communication skills are severely lacking. The management team is visibly stressed due to pressure from higher-ups, which affects their demeanor and interactions. My initial supervisor abruptly left in the middle of a workday upon receiving another job offer. Additionally, there is an excessive level of surveillance, with management monitoring employees closely and frequently critiquing minor errors. My interactions with my supervisor were predominantly negative, as she only communicated with me to criticize my job performance. Although the pay is competitive compared to other places, this is often used as leverage, as the management frequently reminds employees of the higher wages to justify their demands. The culture within the company is detrimental, characterized by finger-pointing and a lack of accountability. Despite being assured that overtime would be minimal, I found myself working 48-hour weeks throughout the summer, which severely affected my work-life balance. Any attempts to discuss these concerns with management were met with inflexibility and a lack of compromise. Furthermore, there is a noticeable lack of respect from higher-level employees towards those on the floor. For instance, during my orientation, I inquired about potential IT opportunities, and months later, the head of IT deemed my question inappropriate, claiming it was inconsiderate since I had not yet begun my regular duties. Overall, the work environment is strained, and the disparity in treatment between office staff and floor workers is palpable. This job may offer good pay, but it comes with substantial drawbacks that potential employees should consider.
